A#1 : Bed bugs only die from heat of the temperature is at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit that's sustained for several hours.
A#2 : Be patience and persistence ! Clean the mattresses , furnitures, carpet , wood molding, and closets. Bed bugs can hide behind loose ,too. Removable, washable items can be laundered in very hot water. For those areas or items that cannot be laundered, smaller items can be wrapped in plastic and set in a hot place or in direct sunlight to kill the eggs and the bugs.
A#3 : if you rent the house, the landlord may be responsible. (Check out the local laws)

A#4 : Try to clean surfaces and hidden areas.
A#5 : Use a pest control company that has experience successfully eliminating bedbugs. Without experience they will likely prolong the problem through insufficient and poorly targeted use of pesticicides.
A#6 : Bug bombs and aerosol pesticides will not rid an area of bed bugs. While extreme hot and cold temperatures may affect the infestation, below freezing temperatures will only work if those temperatures remain below freezing for over two weeks.
A#7 : Wash all clothes and items in extremely hot water. Spray alcohol on surface areas after scrubbing or CALL A PROFESSIONAL
A#8 :
- Take the frame of your bed apart. Wash it with an appropriate soap, spray it, and dust it before putting it back together.
- Steam your mattress, spray it, dust it, and encase it.
- Use light coloured sheets and bring whats on top of your bed down to a minimum (1 sheet, 1 pillow)
- Make sure your bed is isolated and not touching any walls.
