How to clean microwave after overcooked food.

Q#1 :  How to clean microwave after overcooked popcorns? Now the microwave smells smokey and also has a not nice 'brown-burned" look inside. 

Q#1 :  I tried cooking a fish fillet in the microwave. It has bad burned smell now and the inside has been turned from white to yellow.  

A#1 : Use a really wet rag or towel, put it in a bowl with some water, Microwave on high for 30-60 seconds, at a time, making sure the rag does not dry out. The steam will loosen the stuck on food, and then wearing rubber gloves, use the hot rag then to wipe down the inside of the microwave.  You can also use a bit of "fresh" lemon juice to loose the grime better and leaves a fresh scent.  
 
A#2 :   Put a microwave safe cup in the oven and fill almost to the top with water and boil water for about two minutes do not open microwave door until water has cooled down and steam has collected on the interior of the oven . When all this has taken place you can then scrub with a cloth or sponge and sprinkle with a little Baking Soda

You can use if desired White Vinegar to your cloth to wipe down oven interior, food will simple come off easily and any other food residues, some stains however will take a little elbow grease and some Baking Soda and White Vinegar

Or you can fill up a cup with White Vinegar almost to the top of the cup and boil that for two minutes allow vinegar to steam and cool then open door and scrub and wipe oven interior.


A#3 :  Just put some water with lemon juice in the microwave...put it on low power and heat for 10 minutes. it will smell great


A#4 : If it still has some odor, contact the manufacturer in your manual, or go online to the manufacturer, find the serial number, and call them.


A#5 : Try spraying the inside of your microwave with an all-purpose cleaner, then put a wet washcloth in there and nuke it for three minutes. Five minutes after the timer goes off, use the washcloth to wipe out the microwave.
