Q#1 : How do i clean microwave oven?
Q#2 : I want to get rid of the smell from my microwave.
A#1 : Place a bowl of water in the microwave (with a non-metal object) and heat for 3 – 5 minutes, depending how hard the crud is really stuck on. When microwave stops, keep the door closed to give the moisture and steam the heated bowl of water generated to have time to work. Remove bowl (careful, it’s hot) and take a moist, warm cloth to the inside of the microwave. The crud bits should wipe off easily.
A#2 : Boil a cup of water with lemon juice, lemon slices, or a couple tablespoons of vinegar in it in the microwave for 5 minutes after it's done. Wipe it out carefully but thoroughly.
A#3 : Took warm water and vinegar in a spray bottle , sprayed and wiped it up with a cloth. Simple and cheap.
A#4 : Try the 2 tablespoons of ground coffee in 1/2 H2O. It didn't bubble and steam but the smell good.
A#5 : A vinegar, water, and lemon juice spray first then scrubbed the hard to get off spots with a paste of baking soda and water using a toothbrush. Tthen left a bowl of baking soda in the microwave for a few days, that helped with the smell.
A#6 : Put a teacup of water with either dish soap or a slice of lemon, in. Heat it on high for several minutes to allow the water to boil and steam to fill the interior. Let set for a couple of minutes and scrub with a dishrag.
A#7 : Put two tablespoons of freshly ground coffee into a ceramic coffee cup, and added enough water to bring it to about half full. Be sure to sit the coffee mug down into a microwave-safe ceramic or glass bowl or something, because it boils over all over the place). Put that in the microwave and nuke it for about two minutes (long enough for it to boil all over the place, or preferably into the bowl)
Open the door, carefully remove the bowl and mug Immediately wipe out the microwave with a damp cloth or paper towels, and if you have a pool of liquid in the bottom of the microwave, use a handful of paper towels to soak it up so you don't get any on yourself and burn yourself. Repeat if you need to.
